The starting point to the process is a comprehensive design. We don’t just design a pool, we design the entire space to include any landscape, hardscape, and lightscape. We do this so that your design is complete and can be envisioned the way you think of your new outdoor space.

Ideas. Most of the time our customers have some idea of what they are looking for; geometric, free form, spa, waterfalls, water features, color scheme. But they rarely have the details thought through; decking type, tile, etc. And they are often unaware of the pros / cons of certain design decisions.
We pride ourselves on using the experience we have to help you understand how to define a space that will work for your enjoyment many years. We work closely with you to understand what you want to accomplish, in a way that will work best for your needs.

Measurements. Once we have some ideas on the design, we’ll need measurements and its always best to work off your property survey so we can confirm property lines, easements, utility right of ways, etc.

Equipment. We’ll go through the type of equipment and lighting options and help you define what you’re looking for and what that means for equipment.

Hardscape. We’ll want to know if there are other needs or wants for the space, an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, etc. that we will need to design into the space as well.

Once we have that captured the information from our initial consultation, we’ll put the design team to work creating a 2d and 3d design model. The finished product will help you further refine your ideas and helps us better understand any potential conflicts or issues in construction and maintenance that we will be looking for in the model. Depending on how complex or simple the design need is, we may be able to create your proposal at this point. If its more complex, we may need another review session to confirm and update some design components before moving forward.

From the final approved design, we create the construction layout and equipment and materials list for the construction stage!
Basically think of it as ‘a bomb went off in your back yard’! Although we will clean up after key stages and keep things tidy everyday..there’s no getting around the fact you’ll have a large hole in the ground and scraped earth until we get it completed!

- Excavation.
The process begins with excavation. We dig out the area necessary for the size of your pool and begin shaping the ground according to the specifications for your pool design

- Forming.
We begin forming the walls around your pool with still grid construction. By the time this process is completed, you’ll have a good idea of what the outline of your pool will look like!

- Pouring.
We put the walls around the steel grid walls built in forming step. This will provide the hard surfaces necessary for the interior design of your pool.

- Decking & Coping.
The decking and coping for your pool go hand-in-hand. We carefully install the decking to mesh well with the coping surrounding your pool.

- The Final Touches.
Once the hard construction is completed, we install all the final touches, such as landscaping, hardscaping, lightscaping and accessories. Then just add water!

- Pool School.
We complete it all by checking the water chemical balance and taking you through pool school so you understand how it all works and is maintained.

- Maintenance. If you like we’ll manage service and maintenance for you as well, and can be part of the close out discussion.
